Pietrasanta, the Italian town with the highest concentration of art galleries, is just a 5 minute drive from Forte dei Marmi.

This small medieval village, with its cobbled streets, is a jewel of architecture. For centuries Pietrasanta has been a renowned center for the processing of Carrara marble and bronze. It is no coincidence that two world famous artists such as Fernando Botero and Igor Mitoraj have chosen Pietrasanta as their residence in Italy. During the spring and summer, the city is a concentrate of vernissages and aperitivi. The shopping scene is very interesting too, with small independent boutiques hiding gems of italian local brands.
